Catheter Type plastic tubing can be shaped into any configuration within the limits of a die design. Tips can be formed in a simple bullet shape to sophisticated contours and sized from 1mm through 11.3 mm. Wall thickness can be formed externally and internally utilizing a mandrel around the mold.

PILLAR/Cycle-Dyne tip forming systems can be customized for individual applications from manual to semi or fully automatic processes.Systems design include forming one tip at a time or in multiples. Our two station generators permit forming tips on one station during the cool off cycle of the other station, thus obtaining virtually 100% heating cycles.

Solid State power controls with line voltage regulation and digital timers with accuracy to .01 seconds are the essential tools of PILLAR/Cycle-Dyne's success in quality tip forming. Forming dies are water cooled and assisted by an air vortex system.
